Colour explosion wedding inspiration

Styled shoot
Church of Bang Bang Boogaloo, Melbourne
Be as colourful, bold and creative as a unicorn with a penchant for confetti at a rainbow convention
Bringing together 20 of the wedding industry’s most rad, creative and envelope-pushing vendors, Good Day Rentals went to town designing and styling this wedding shoot, where not a single person was ever heard to say anything as silly as ‘less is more’, or, ‘do you think we need all of that?’.
Originally featured on one of our very fave wedding blogs – Nouba – the shoot has been seen and loved by brides and industry professionals alike. We’ve laid out even more images for you to enjoy and pin, so go for it!

ceremony
Featuring a brass and copper wedding arch in the shape of a teepee, our bride and groom, Sham and Gerard (who are a real life couple – you can tell, huh?) showed us the love and fun and really got the ‘wedding’ off to a terrific start.
Florist Meghan from Good Grace and Humour created draping flower chains that looked super fabulous and fun! Custom confetti was used minimally – hahaha – just kidding, we chucked it around like, like, well like we were on crack at a wedding (and it took two hours to clean it up, including quite an extended amount of time vaccuming the laneway!).
Our vintage velvet chairs were assembled in a rainbow, which was a cool alternative to the mismatched chairs trend.

Portraits
These guys! Check out that gold hair foil and make-up by Made You Blush! Julz is a wizard! Gerard’s velvet jacket was amazing and lush and looked great with the lighter pant option both by Briggins and his cherry Doc Martens. And that floral veil? We all need one of those right now.

Reception
More was again, MORE when it came to table styling. Gold, crystal, brass, glass, timber, velvet, and flowers flowers flowers. With the help of our vintage pals over at Betty May Vintage, the table looked a million bucks, with the stacks of dinner ware in a mix of crystal, brass and china, and gold cutlery from Gold Wedding Hire.

Dessert lounge
Why have a dessert table when you can have a dessert lounge? Sit down, relax and enjoy the grandest (and most expensive, amirite?) cake you’ll probably ever have. This dream cakery is from Miss Ladybird Cakes.

Photo booth
Little Pixel Box’s Instagram photobooth is great looking and fun, kind of like your dream man slash woman.
