Our co-founder and creative director, Kate Forsyth, took Wedshed through a day in the life. Read all about what happens between 6am and 3:35pm… **Spolier alert** it involves lots of bright colours, heavy lifting and assorted beverages.

Laura + Duncan’s wedding was an absolute dream to design and style. It all took place at Sokil Art Eco Retreat ( a Ukrainian scout camp ) so obviously we had to be inspired by one of Kate’s fav movies – Moonrise Kingdom by Wes anderson!

Teegan + Magatia got married at the first legal minute possible ae there counting down + throwing confetti with them! Woohoo!

If you love all things dark, moody and romantic this is the shoot for you! We selected all of our moody-est pieces for this decadent styled shoot at Montsalvat. 

We co-hosted our first ever workshop on International Women’s day with a bunch of super rad women! Together we raised $4,000 for Wire, a fantastic organisation that provides free support, referral and information for all Victorian women, nonbinary and gender-diverse people!

When The Altar Electric contacted us to transform a humble little studio into a fun-filled wedding chapel we yelled “HELL YEAH” and got right to it. You can read all about it from the eyes of Polkadot Bride!

When we asked Becky and Gearoid what their favourite things to do together were, they told us about bars they go to, festivals they’ve danced at and other fun things that happen when the sun goes down! They were drawn to images of colourful sunsets and beautiful neon signs so naturally we styled their wedding around those two things! WOW WOW WOW! Kim and Matt’s wedding was dripping with gold sequins and all the 70’s vibes.
Kim and Matt wanted Wes Anderson’s The Royal Tenenbaum’s to inspire our design, and that it did!
We filled 2 huge tents with pink and silver disco balls, gold draping fabric and retro furniture. We had so much fun incorporating a whole heap of knick knacks from their house into their design too!

When we first saw Miss Angie Bar we knew we that she  HAD to be the star of a shoot. We didn’t have any suitable shoots planned for her to star in so we made one specifically for her.
This styled shoot is oozing with all of our favourite things! Glitter, sequins, sparkles and lolly confetti.

Come on the magic cocktail bus! Now located over on Hooray!

The team at The Altar Electric asked us and a bunch of other like-minded humans to get together and make the best damn styled shoot you’ve ever seen! Not only did they let us style up a storm for them, they also let us have a mini dance party at the end of it. Our very own Kate + Dave also got (pretend) married for the shoot so you do not want to miss this!

How many super talented creatives can you fit into a super intimate / super rad / super fun wedding chapel? 21… that’s how many! The Altar Electric asked us to style this BEST-DAY-EVER shoot and now you can see some of the photos over on Nouba!

Jeremy and India said that they didn’t want a traditional wedding. They wanted it to be fun and full of colour and that it was. We felt really lucky that they asked us to provide them with a selection of velvet and timber dining chairs and plush lounge furnishings. When Em Rusciano’s contacted us to style her Dynasty-inspired birthday bash, we said heck yes! We filled Em’s backyard with a glitter purple runway, giant ex-theater velvet red curtains and all of our best 80’s style furniture! You can read all about it over on Daily Mail.

When Sarah Dobson, Anthony Cribbes and Dee Brinsmead got together to create The Altar Electric we got very very excited. But when they asked us to style their new home / wedding altar at School House Studios we knew that we were in for a wild ride!

Have you ever loved someone so much that you want to go to the top of a mountain and tell everyone? Well Jeremy and India did exactly that on their wedding day. Mount Macedon to be exact.

It’s no secret that we love colour. Bright colour, pastel colour, rainbows on rainbows on rainbows. For this winery shoot we wanted to challenge ourselves and only use 2 main colours throughout. Red and blue! And we LOVE it!
Have you ever wanted to shrink yourself down and live in a table centre piece? Well this styled shoot made us want to. You should go and check it out over on Wedshed. This venue is a knock-out.

Kate + Jace both have so much talent pouring out of them so naturally they thought they would put it to good use and create the most incredible DIY wedding. Move over mason jars wraped in lace and burlap! This DIY wedding was inspired by royal feasts and still life paintings, styled to perfection by the bride herself.
