Headshots terms and conditions
Here are the terms and conditions that apply to our Headshot packages.
Gold and Grit Photography is Stina Evjan, ABN 27 686 803 472
Good Day Club is Good Day Group Pty Ltd, ABN 54 612 840 338
2. Payment and refunds
Payment for headshot sessions must be completed to secure the booking. The session fee is non-refundable. In the event that the Client cannot attend the portrait session after it has been booked, no refund will be made to the Client. The Client can however transfer their session to someone else.
The Client is guaranteed up to 20 minutes of shoot time. These sessions are scheduled back-to-back, and any Client that is late to their session will lose that time from their session. To avoid this, the Client is advised that he/she should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their session start time.
4. Artistic license
Gold and Grit Photography’s judgment regarding which images to edit shall be deemed correct. Images will be edited and finished in line with the style seen in the advert on the Gold and Grit Photography’s and Good Day Club’s websites and social media applications. Gold and Grit Photography shall be granted artistic licence in relation to the poses photographed, the location used and digital retouching.
All delivered images will, at Gold and Grit Photography’s discretion, include basic post-production retouching of the final images. This could, but will not always, include colour correction, sharpening, basic skin retouching, exposure correction etc. More complex or specifically requested editing, such removal of large objects, colour changes, composites or detailed beauty editing will require an additional cost.
5. Copyright and reproductions
Copyright of all images created is re-assigned to Gold and Grit Photography and remains the property of Gold and Grit Photography. The delivery of the final images will also include a print release that allows the Client both personal and commercial rights. Sale of the photographs is not allowed without prior written permission from Gold and Grit Photography.
Images may not be edited, colour-corrected or altered in any way, including Instagram filters. Gold and Grit Photography asks that you credit accordingly when used in a commercial setting.
Personal Accident – Any directions issued to the Client during a session are deemed to be at the Client’s own risk. Neither Gold and Grit Photography nor Good Day Club cannot be held responsible for any personal accidents during the shoot.
7. Model release
Photographs taken during the Client’s session may be used by Gold and Grit Photography and Good Day Club for the purpose of display, portfolio, advertising, website or any publication to promote the business names without additional compensation to the client.
In the event of disastrous weather or serious illness, where Gold and Grit Photography is physically not able to photograph on the day planned, either a back up photographer will be organised, or a new date will be set. If the Client is not able to attend the back-up date (same time slot) they will receive a full refund.
9. File delivery and storage
Gold and Grit Photography will provide the Client with digital files (photographs) within two weeks from the shoot. The images will be available via a private gallery hosted on Gold and Grit Photography’s website. Once the images are uploaded, the client will have 6 months to make their selection.
It is important that the client backs up their images. Final files will be kept in storage, but after a period of 6 months Gold and Grit Photography may charge to recover them.
10. Amendment rights reserved
Gold and Grit Photography and Good Day Club reserve the right to amend these session terms and conditions without prior notice.
